TITUS FLUX RECLAIMING opened its doors in 1987 in Cartersville Georgia. It is a sister company to TITUS STEEL COMPANY located in Toronto, Canada.

Titus Steel has been in business since 1957. It sells and processes specialty steel products such as wear plate and parts, armor plate for civilian and military applications and mold and die steels.  

Since its inception, Titus Flux has pioneered the use of recrushed flux and saved each of our “Fabrication Partners” across the US, Canada, and Mexico, hundreds of thousand of dollars per year. Equally as important, we have saved the environment hundreds of millions of pounds of weld slag which otherwise would have been dumped into landfills over the past 3 decades.

We are very proud of our accomplishments:

• Conducting  the initial basic research in the early 80’s which proved recrushed slag works as well and in some cases better than virgin flux

• Working closely with AWS and ASME to change welding codes

• Working with each individual customer/partners to develop the best product tailored specifically to your fabrication requirements

• More recently working with the International ISO committees to develop common welding codes throughout the world.

We view each of our customers as a unique partnership. Both of us must work together to make the program successful and save both money and the environment.
